“I don't think that I will get bored in ONE” - Roberto Soldic looks to stay busy competing in different sports and divisions

Croatian superstar Roberto Soldic is counting on staying busy in ONE Championship as he looks forward to competing in other sports besides MMA.

The former KSW two-division world champion cleaned out two different weight classes before signing with ONE Championship as a free agent.

Seeing as there are multiple opportunities to get ahead in his career, Soldic has no regrets in his choice of organization. Ahead of his welterweight debut at ONE on Prime Video 5, ‘Robocop’ told The MMA Superfan:

“My goal is just to keep going and we will see what the future brings. I don't think that I will get bored in ONE Championship because I have other sports and other divisions. There are so many things [to do].”

As one of the hottest properties in the sport of MMA today, Soldic is entering his debut fight with considerably high expectations.

Besides being the second youngest double-world champion in KSW history, the Croatian finisher has a reputation for being one of the most dangerous knockout artists in the sport. Undefeated since 2018, ‘Robocop’ has a ridiculous record of 20 professional wins, 17 of which were by way of knockouts.

On December 2, he faces one of the toughest challenges yet in top welterweight contender Murad Ramazanov, in a high-stakes bout for a shot at the world title.

Roberto Soldic happy to be thrown into the deep end against a “dangerous wrestler”

Roberto Soldic is happy to have received a contract to fight against one of the most dangerous wrestlers on the roster for his ONE debut.

To take him so seriously from the get-go, Soldic is elated for the opportunity to showcase his skills and talents against an undefeated foe.

He told ONE Championship:

“Straight away, I get the most dangerous wrestler and MMA fighter, Murad Ramazanov. I have never chosen any opponent from the beginning [of my career]. Just send a contract, and I will sign it. It doesn’t matter who he is.”

Murad Ramazanov is a well-rounded mixed martial artist with an insane ability to control the pace of a fight with expert wrestling and takedowns. As an athlete who has trained with Khabib Nurmagomedov and his Eagle MMA teammates, Roberto Soldic expects nothing less than perfect coming from his opponent.
