Roberto Soldic is ready to show off his skill set in front of a raucous crowd at the 1stBank Center.
‘Robocop’ will make his sophomore appearance inside the Circle at ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video when ONE Championship makes its long-awaited debut in the United States in just a few short weeks.
While Soldic’s promotional debut came in December, the bout ended early as the result of a low blow, preventing ‘Robocop’ from showing off his incredible knockout power. He’ll look to make the most of his opportunity on May 5 at ONE’s history-making event. He said:
“I always try to put on good pressure and finish the guy with my skills,” Soldic said in an interview with ONE Championship. “I hope I have shown that with what I did before in KSW and in Cage Warriors. I cannot wait for this one, especially because it’s in the USA. I’m very excited.”

Roberto Soldic will walk into his ONE Fight Night 10 matchup with an impressive 20-3 record in MMA. Perhaps even more impressive is the fact that he has a staggering 17 victories by way of knockout. He’ll look to score knockout number 18, but it will be no easy task as ‘Robocop’ will be tasked with taking out former ONE welterweight world champion Zebaztian Kadestam.
Kadestam is hoping to work his way back into the welterweight title picture. Riding the momentum of back-to-back first-round knockouts against Valmir Da Silva and the late Iuri Lapicus, ‘The Bandit’ could very well earn himself an opportunity to recapture ONE Championship gold with a victory over Roberto Soldic.
Roberto Soldic knew striking was his thing right from the start
Many mixed martial artists spent years honing their craft inside the gym before attempting to implement their teachings in the cage. However, that was not the case for Roberto Soldic.
‘Robocop’ figured out what he was good at during his first career fight. Looking back on his first professional fight, ‘Robocop’ said:
“I won the fight. I went in the cage straight away. I never sparred before, and straight away I saw that I can strike. The guy was very dangerous... I didn’t give up and then in the second round, he got out and he tried to take me down, but I escaped and went to ground and pound."
"I caught him with a left hand in the head and I saw that I hurt him, and I continued the ground-and-pound, then the referee stopped the fight. And my career started.”
Soldic kicked off his career by going 4-0 before suffering his first setback. ‘Robocop’ is currently riding the longest streak of his career, winning his last seven in a row. Six of those wins have come by way of knockouts, with half of the knockouts taking place in the very first round.
