Roberto Soldic is putting all of his focus on becoming a ONE world champion.
The Croatian sensation knows a thing or two about being a champion, having captured not one, but two titles under the KSW banner before signing with ONE Championship last year.
‘Robocop’ will take his first step towards becoming ONE world champion when he faces former ONE welterweight titleholder Zebaztian Kadestam at ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video.
Before making his sophomore appearance inside the Circle, Roberto Soldic spoke with MMA Sucka. Soldic acknowledged that capturing 26 pounds of ONE gold will not be an easy task, but it’s a challenge he’s ready to face head-on.

“I see the biggest challenges in everything that they have offered me before. For real, I will focus on [getting] the MMA belt because this is what I’ve been doing all my life. Of course, striking too, but it’s not going to be easy.”
Swedish striker Zebaztian Kadestam knows what it feels like to carry the title of ONE world champion around and he plans to experience that feeling once again. Following a run of bad luck that saw him surrender his ONE world title to former champion Kiamrian Abbasov, ‘The Bandit’ has bounced back in a big way. He has scored back-to-back first-round finishes against Valmir da Silva and the late Iuri Lapicus.
A win over Soldic would likely put Kadestam in a position to once again challenge for a ONE world championship.
Roberto Soldic finds himself in a similar position. Despite being just his second appearance inside the Circle, ‘Robocop’ enters the bout riding a seven-fight win streak dating back to 2018. That impressive run, including six wins by way of knockout, will certainly be taken into account when looking at the next contender for the ONE welterweight world championship.
