“It's MMA and I'm ready for everything” - Roberto Soldic says he has all the bases covered against Murad Ramazanov

Roberto Soldic will be covering all the bases for his ONE Championship debut this Friday. The promotion returns to the Mall of Asia Arena in Manila for ONE on Prime Video 5. In the main event of the evening, two-division world champion Reinier de Ridder will defend his ONE light heavyweight title against reigning interim heavyweight titleholder Anatoly Malykhin.

Before we get to the main event, fans in Manila and those watching around the world will be treated to the highly anticipated debut of Roberto Soldic, a former KSW two-division champion. Stepping into the circle for the first time, ‘Robocop’ will face a tough test against undefeated Russian grappler Murad Ramazanov.

Just days away from a potential welterweight world title eliminator, Roberto Soldic spoke to The MMA Superfan about his preparations for his December 2 showdown with Ramazanov:

“I think he's going to shoot, of course. But, it's an MMA fight. I'm focused all the time and I don't know, he can maybe throw the punches, of course. It's MMA and I'm ready for everything, and I do what I do always. If I do what I do always, it's going to be a good fight for me, and I'm going to win this fight.”

Aung La N Sang believes Roberto Soldic will earn a title shot with a win at ONE on Prime Video 5

ONE Championship legend Aung La N Sang believes Robert Soldic can secure a ONE world title opportunity with a win in his promotional debut.

‘The Burmese Python’ got back into the win column with a dominant first-round knockout of Yushin ‘Thunder’ Okami at ONE 163. Speaking with the South China Morning Post following his win, Aung La gave his thoughts on the major ONE on Prime Video showdown between Soldic and the undefeated Russian Murad Ramazanov:

"He's [Soldic] got a tough fight, too. He's got a tough fight, a heavy grappler, and a big guy too for that weight class. So we'll see. His first fight is a big test. If he passes that big test, I think the winner of that one will probably get a title shot."

Christian Lee, the newly crowned ONE welterweight champion, has also acknowledged that his first title challenger will likely be against the winner of Soldic vs. Ramazanov.
