Roberto Soldic will not underestimate Christian Lee if they fight for the ONE Championship welterweight title.
‘The Warrior’ overcame adversity at ONE on Prime Video 4 to capture the welterweight title and become a two-division world champion. During the post-event media interviews, ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong showed interest in the winner of Robert Soldic vs. Murad Ramazanov being Lee’s opponent for his first welterweight title defense.
While doing an interview with The MMA Superfan, Soldic had this to say when asked about Lee:
“Yeah, I saw him live in Singapore and I think I'm different. I'll try to show them in Manila why they call me Robocop because I have a different type of pressure and different hands and different legs. Strong clinch and everything. So it's not going to be easy for him but for me also. I never underestimate any fighter but I will try to show it in Manila and they will see.”

‘Robocop’ doesn’t underestimate his opponents, especially the undefeated Russian. Before worrying about fighting for the title, Soldic needs to avoid the grappling-heavy approach from Ramazanov and secure a win at ONE on Prime Video 5.

Roberto Soldic is excited to watch three title fights at ONE on Prime Video 5
Roberto Soldic is ready to fight in the Circle after signing with ONE Championship in August. ‘Robocop’ will make his promotional debut at ONE on Prime Video 5, which features three title fights. During the same interview with The MMA Superfan, Soldic had this to say about watching the event after his fight:
"I can enjoy and watch the other fights, [three] fights for the belt. It's huge and people always ask me what I think about this... What I think about that. It's a crazy card, every fight is top level and you can expect everything."
In the main event, Reinier de Ridder will look to defend his light heavyweight title against Anatoly Malykhin. The co-main event will showcase submission grappling as lightweight champion Kade Ruotolo takes on IBJJF world champion Matheus Gabriel. The final title fight is an atomweight Muay Thai matchup between the champion Allycia Hellen Rodrigues and interim champion Janet Todd.
Despite the intriguing title fights, Roberto Soldic might steal the show because of the interest he’s built from his decision to sign with ONE Championship.
