Croatian mixed martial arts sensation ‘Robocop’ Roberto Soldic knows the value of hard work, which is why is constantly punishing himself in the gym in order to maintain his lofty perch atop the combat sports world.
But the 28-year-old also knows that pushing himself too far past the limit is detrimental to his overall health. And although he wants to stay as active as he possibly can with ONE Championship, too many back-to-back fights isn’t ideal.
In a recent interview with Timothy Wheaton for MMA Sucka, Roberto Soldic talked about what it takes to reach the top and the hard work that entails, noting that it’s something fans may not even realize.
‘Robocop’ said:

“I train hard. Also, it’s not good to get like four or five fights in a year, you know because of training, fight camps, and sparring. I already do three times a week of sparring. This is a hard job. People don’t understand. I’m always on the highest level of readiness. I train always two times [a day] and that’s why I’m here.”

Roberto Soldic is scheduled to face his former ONE welterweight world champion ‘The Bandit’ Zebaztian Kadestam at ONE Fight Night 10. The event takes place live from the 1stBank Center in Colorado on Friday, May 5, and marks ONE Championship’s historic first on-ground U.S. event.
The show will broadcast for free to fans in the United States and Canada with an active Prime Video subscription.
For Soldic, his fight against Zebaztian Kadestam is a chance to redo his botched ONE Championship debut against Murad Ramazanov last December, which ended in a disappointing no contest when Ramazanov ended matters with an accidental illegal groin shot.
