Roberto Soldic reveals why he chose ONE Championship over other organizations
After deciding to leave KSW, Roberto Soldic had all of the world's top combat sports organizations seeking his services. In the end, the 28-year-old chose to sign with ONE Championship.
Soldic said on The MMA Hour:
“When I finished the KSW contract, I had so many [offers], including UFC, ONE Championship, and I choose ONE Championship for sure because it’s the biggest martial arts [organization] in the world."
"They give me opportunity to take all the belts - kickboxing world champion, Muay Thai world champion, MMA world champion, also boxing world champion. I want to create something for my people, my own legacy, so I chose ONE Championship, for sure.”
His upcoming opponent is a veteran of ONE Championship, amassing a record of 6-4 thus far. Zebaztian Kadestam's most notable wins have come against Tyler McGuire and Iuri Lapicus. Incredibly, all six of his wins inside the Circle have come via stoppage. Soldic is a bonafide finisher in his own right, with 18 of his 20 pro victories coming by way of finish.
Make sure to tune in to ONE Fight Night 10 to see Roberto Soldic take on Zebaztian Kadestam in a critical welterweight bout, live from the 1stBank Center in Denver, Colorado.
All of the action will be broadcast live and for free to Amazon Prime subscribers across North America.
