Roberto Soldic is just days away from making his highly-anticipated ONE Championship debut. After dominating in the Polish organization KSW, where he was a two-division titleholder, ‘Robocop’ will step into the circle against a dangerous and undefeated Russian grappler in Murad Ramazanov.

With a 3-0 record in ONE Championship and 11-0 overall, Ramazanov could be a tough test for anyone under the ONE banner. However, Soldic is convinced that his Russian opponent has never faced a fighter like himself. In an interview with The MMA Super Fan, Soldic said:

“This is a striker versus grappler [matchup]. Before I also [faced] the toughest guys, opponents, and everything. I think that he hasn't faced anyone like me.”

In 11 career victories, Ramazanov has put away seven of his opponents, four via submission and another three by way of knockout. With more than twice as many fights under his belt, Roberto Soldic has an impressive 20 career wins with a staggering 17 victories by knockout. With both fighters having a strong penchant for finishes, it’s safe to assume things will likely end early between Roberto Soldic and Murad Ramazanov on December 2.

Roberto Soldic will likely challenge for a ONE world championship with a win over Ramazanov

Even though Soldic is yet to make his ONE Championship debut, he is already being eyed for a ONE welterweight world title opportunity. Should he get past Murad Ramazanov at ONE on Prime Video 5, he’ll get exactly that per ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong.

Speaking at the ONE on Prime Video 4 post-fight press conference, the ONE CEO revealed that the winner of Soldic vs. Ramazanov will likely find themselves in pole position for a shot at the newly crowned welterweight king, Christian Lee:

“I think you know, we're going to see some fireworks come December 2, Amazon Prime with Roberto Soldic versus Murad Ramazanov…so it'd be very, very fascinating. I think the winner of that, depending on how the fight shapes out, could be fighting for the title against Christian.”

With Christian Lee now reigning as both the lightweight and welterweight world champion, it is unclear at this time which title ‘The Warrior’ will defend next, but he has expressed a desire to defend both belts over his next few outings.
