Rodtang Jitmuangnon believes Jonathan Haggerty's power at bantamweight could spell disaster for ONE flyweight kickboxing king Superlek Kiatmoo9.
This Friday night, Sept. 6, Haggerty will put his ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title on the line against 'The Kicking Machine' in one of the most anticipated main events of the year at ONE 168: Denver.
Haggerty—who heads to The Mile High City as a two-division titleholder—faces perhaps his toughest test to date as Superlek moves up from his post at flyweight to add another 26 pounds of ONE gold to his resume.

However, 'The Iron Man' believes Haggerty will have power on his side after taking the last couple of years to find his footing in the bantamweight division.
“Haggerty’s strength is he has been fighting in this division for a long time," Rodtang told ONE Championship. "He can punch very hard and violently.”
Rodtang may be the man most qualified to comment on ONE 168: Denver's headliner considering he delivered a trio of instant classics against the two Muay Thai titans.
Can Superlek stop the unstoppable Jonathan Haggerty at ONE 168: Denver?
After dropping back-to-back bouts against 'The Iron Man' at flyweight, Jonathan Haggerty moved to bantamweight in 2022, scoring a unanimous decision victory over Vladimir Kuzmin.
Since then, 'The General' has rattled off three straight highlight-reel finishes, including a pair of earth-shattering KOs against Nong-O Hama and Fabricio Andrade to claim the bantamweight Muay Thai and kickboxing world championships.
He followed that up with his first successful defense of the Muay Thai belt, knocking out 'Demolition Man' Felipe Lobo in the third round of their ONE Fight Night 19 scrap.
Will Haggerty continue his reign over the bantamweight division, or will Superlek snap the Brit's unbeaten streak and take his first Muay Thai title under the ONE banner back home to Thailand?
