Rodtang grateful to be part of monumental ONE Fight Night 10 card

Rodtang Jitmuangnon appreciates the opportunity to compete at ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video.

On May 5, ONE Championship takes a trip to Colorado for their first event on North American soil. In the co-main event, Rodtang will look to defend his ONE flyweight Muay Thai world championship against the promotional newcomer Edgar Tabares.

‘The Iron Man’ is a massive superstar in Thailand, but there’s room to grow his platform in North America. ONE Fight Night 10 allows him to continue winning over American fans with an impressive performance against Tabares. The 25-year-old world champion recently posted an Instagram of the May 5 fight card with the caption saying:

Rodtang last fought in November 2022, defeating Joseph Lasiri by unanimous decision. Since joining ONE in 2018, ‘The Iron Man’ holds records of 11-0 in Muay Thai and 2-0 in kickboxing. The Thai superstar is now looking to continue solidifying his legacy at ONE Fight Night 10 at the 1stBank Center.

Although most people haven’t heard of Tabares, he shouldn’t be underestimated. The 28-year-old is a former WBC International Muay Thai world champion with a record of 32-1-5. The Mexican-born fighter has an opportunity to change his life by winning on May 5.

Rodtang Jitmuangnon vs. Edgar Tabares is not the only world championship fight at ONE Fight Night 10. Mikey Musumeci returns to the Circle to defend the ONE flyweight submission grappling world title against promotional newcomer Osamah Almarwai. ‘Darth Rigatoni’ defended his throne for the first time in January with a decision win against Gantumur Bayanduuren.

In the main event, Demetrious Johnson and Adriano Moraes meet in a rubber match for the ONE flyweight world championship. ONE Fight Night 10 also features the return of Sage Northcutt, ONE middleweight world champion Reinier de Ridder competing against Tye Ruotolo in submission grappling, and more.
