Rodtang Jitmuangnon details Superlek Kiatmoo9’s improvements

'The Iron Man' Rodtang Jitmuangnon is aiming to capture the flyweight kickboxing crown as he faces 'The Kicking Machine' Superlek Kiatmoo9 later this week in a highly anticipated showdown.

Fans have been eagerly awaiting for this matchup. Finally, these two ace strikers will meet in the ONE circle with the ONE flyweight kickboxing world title on the line. It will be the main event on March 24 at ONE Fight Night 8 on Prime Video. ONE Fight Night events are broadcast live and for free in North America via Prime Video.

ONE flyweight Muay Thai king Rodtang knows that it will not be an easy path to victory against Superlek, as the Thai-born kickboxing champion continues to improve with every fight.

In an interview with ONE Championship, the ferocious puncher 'The Iron Man' explained:

"Of course, his strength is his right shin. And definitely, he has more experience than me. Superlek became famous before me. And, he has great improvement in kickboxing. If he fought with Ilias Ennahachi, he might not have won under the kickboxing rule set."

'The Iron Man' continued:

"But in his match for the world title (against Panpayak), he punched and kicked more fluently. He has improved in every aspect. I think he's developed in the right direction."

Rodtang confident against Superlek

Despite the constant improvements from 'The Kicking Machine,' 'The Iron Man' is confident in his abilities and skills. The Thai-born superstar believes his fists will get the job done.

“In comparison, I believe I’m more versatile. I am armed with fists, feet, knees, elbows. My advantage is a variety of punches and quick steps, in and out. I might be a bit faster than him. But Superlek’s right shin is superior to mine and he has more experience. It depends on who makes the first mistake in the circle.”
