ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon is rallying behind former girlfriend Stamp Fairtex in her upcoming fight at ONE Fight Night 6 on January 13 in Bangkok, Thailand.
Stamp is to battle Anissa Meksen in an atomweight MMA and Muay Thai mixed-rules showdown in ONE’s first live event offering for 2023 happening at the Impact Arena.
In an interview with SCMP MMA, Rodtang Jitmuangnon said he likes the chances of Stamp against Meksen, provided she gives her all in the fight and shows the needed patience in her game plan.
Rodtang advised Stamp:

“Just go 100 percent. Go as much as you can and try hard. Be patient and you will win.”
Thai powerhouse Rodtang Jitmuangnon will be present when old flame Stamp takes the circle as he too is slated to compete at ONE Fight Night 6, taking on China’s Jiduo Yibu in a flyweight kickboxing bout.
Rodtang last fought in November, successfully defending his Muay Thai world title over strawweight king Joseph Lasiri in their champion vs. champion clash.
ONE Fight Night 6 is live and free for North American fans with an active Amazon Prime subscription.
Rodtang Jitmuangnon laser-focused on preparing for Jiduo Yibu
Proving that he practices what he preaches, ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon said he is focusing hard on his training to come up with a great performance in his return to action on January 13.
Rodtang Jitmuangnon collides with replacement opponent Jiduo Yibu in a flyweight kickboxing bout, part of the main card for ONE Fight Night 6 in Bangkok.
The ONE champion was originally set to take on Daniel Puertas of Spain, who was bumped up to play in the co-main event against Superlek Kiatmoo9 for the vacant ONE flyweight kickboxing world title. Former titleholder Ilias Ennahachi relinquished the belt after failing to make the flyweight weight limit while hydrated.
In an interview with SCMP MMA, Rodtang shared that he is preparing hard, notwithstanding the change in opponent, to give a good show to the fans.
Rodtang said:
“I’ve been training very hard. It’s the only thing I’m doing right now. I am happy to fight with any opponent that the promoter is happy to give me. Of course, I will have to agree with the change.”
By competing in kickboxing, Rodtang is showcasing that he is more than just a Muay Thai star. Last year, he, too, dipped his hands in mixed martial arts, facing off but losing to MMA legend Demetrious Johnson in ONE’s first-ever mixed-rules super fight.
In Yibu, Rodtang is facing an opponent still young in his ONE career and is out to get it going in the promotion after absorbing a narrow split decision defeat against Puertas last February.
