Rodtang Jitmuangnon's kickboxing world title bout against Superlek Kiatmoo9 is rapidly approaching — and he's looking sharp in his last week of training.

'The Iron Man' is hoping to become a two-sport world champion by picking up a victory at ONE Fight Night 8 on Prime Video. He scored a win in his kickboxing debut against China's Jiduo Yibu this past January.

Meanwhile, Superlek attained the vacant flyweight kickboxing world title in January with his decision win over Spain's Daniel Puertas. He'll be making his first title defense against promotional superstar Rodtang.

Ahead of the clash, he wrote on Instagram:

"My last week of rehearsals👊🏼👊🏼"

Rodtang satisfied with how his 2022 went overall, eyeing belts in multiple sports before moving up in weight

The 25-year-old phenom went 2-1 inside the circle last year, with Muay Thai victories over Jacob Smith and Joseph Lasiri. His lone defeat came in a mixed-rules superfight against MMA legend Demetrious Johnson.

Overall, the Muay Thai star is content with how he performed in 2022, telling the South China Morning Post:

"It’s been a mixed feeling. Overall, I’m happy that I can defend my title at ONE Championship. I am a little disappointed with some fights that I’ve missed, but overall I feel good."

'The Iron Man' added:

"Of course, I’d love to. But only after I will have achieved my goals - a world champion in Muay Thai, kickboxing, and MMA. [Then] I will probably move to higher division."

The flyweight Muay Thai king is already scheduled to make a title defense in May, as he'll take on Mexico's Edgar Tabares in the promotion's historic debut on American soil.

Impressively, 'The Iron Man' has never been beaten inside the circle in striking-only competitions, amassing an unbeaten record of 13-0. He'll further etch himself into the history books with a win over Superlek at ONE Fight Night 8.

Make sure to tune in to ONE Fight Night 8 on March 25 to watch Rodtang challenge Superlek for the flyweight kickboxing world title, live from the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

All ONE Fight Night events are broadcast live and for free in North America via Prime Video.
