ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon has added priorities now that he is a married man. Among these is being a good example to his future children.
'The Iron Man' tied the knot with fellow fighter Aida Looksaikongdin in ceremonies held last February. It is a fulfillment of his wish to strike a balance between having a family and a successful career as a fighter.
Speaking to ONE Championship in the lead-up to his next fight later this week, Rodtang said it is a gem to see his goals outside of competition one by one being realized:

“I want to have kids and enjoy a couple’s life. And if I can, I will have my own gym for our next-generation fighters.”
Rodtang added:
“Of course, since I have a family now, I must have more determination. And I have an explicit goal in order to be a role model for my children. I want them to see dad as their idol.”
While he enjoys married life, Rodtang is gearing up for his title showdown against ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion Superlek Kiatmoo9 in the headlining bout at ONE Fight Night 8 on Prime Video on March 24 in Singapore.
'The Iron Man' is looking to add kickboxing gold to the Muay Thai world title he has to become a two-sport ONE world champion.
Superlek, meanwhile, is out to make it a successful first title defense after ascending to the throne of his division back in January.

“My goal is still the same” - Rodtang looking to win world titles in different sports then start a family
ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon has his goals set, which include continued success in combat sports and balancing it out by having a happy family life.
The Thai superstar has said that he is determined to add another world title from a different sport to his growing list of accomplishments. In addition to the Muay Thai world title belt that he has, Rodtang is eyeing gold in kickboxing and then later on in mixed martial arts.
Apart from further advancing his professional career, he hopes to build a family with his wife Aida Looksaikongdin, whom he married in a Muslim wedding last February. In an interview with ONE Championship, 'The Iron Man' said:
“My goal is still the same. I’d like to make a run at MMA and kickboxing gold. I want to develop myself into a better athlete and try out different sports. And I’d like to start a family of my own soon. I want to find a special someone to live with and settle down with.”
'The Iron Man' gets his shot at kickboxing gold when he challenges fellow Thai champion Superlek Kiatmoo9 for the world title at ONE Fight Night 8 on Prime Video on March 24 in Singapore.
