Thai superstar Rodtang Jitmuangnon believes that we will likely see a finish in the upcoming main event of ONE 168.

'The Iron Man' is well known for his aggressive fighting style that both makes for entertaining contests and sees him chase the finish. And when you have two elite strikers coming up against one another, the fight can be decided by the smallest of margins. When you're facing the best, all it takes is one slight mistake for the fight to end.

Jonathan Haggerty is set to defend his bantamweight Muay Thai crown against Superlek Kiatmoo9 in the main event of ONE 168. The two former opponents of 'The Iron Man's' have been on incredible winning streaks as of late which leads them to the Ball Arena in Denver on September 6.

In an interview with ONE Championship, Rodtang predicted that after a feeling-out process, both men are going to be trying to find a way to put their opponent away:

"It has a high chance to end with a KO. It's hard for me to predict, but in the first round, the two will get to know each other. In the second round, they will start trading weapons."

The flyweight Muay Thai world champion rounded out his thoughts by stating that he doesn't see it needing the fifth and final round to separate them:

"If both of them are careful, it should end in the third or fourth round."

Rodtang has met those weapons head-on

Such is the skill level and legendary toughness of Rodtang that he was able to take the weapons that Jonathan Haggerty and Superlek bring to the table and make it through those fights.

That being said, the recent performances from both men have shown just how lethal they can be.

Whether it's the devastating leg kicks from Superlek that were on show against Takeru at ONE 165 or the one-shot power that Haggerty has developed since moving up to bantamweight, these two are always looking to close the show early.

Their meeting on September 6 could end in an instant so you can't afford to look away.

Tickets for ONE 168: Denver are available via Ticketmaster.
