Reigning and undisputed ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion 'The Iron Man' Rodtang Jitmuangnon of Thailand doesn't believe upcoming opponent Jacob Smith of the United Kingdom will come into their rematch with the same style as he did two years ago.

The Thai icon and the fierce Englishman first met in May of 2022, with 'The Iron Man' dominating for three rounds en route to a unanimous decision victory. It was one of Rodtang's most iconic performances in the world's largest martial arts organization, and a fight that will live on in memory.

Speaking to Sportskeeda MMA in an exclusive interview, however, Rodtang said he expects a different look from his English adversary.

'The Iron Man' stated:

"It’s difficult to say. As always, it all depends on what happens in the ring. I’ll have to either go according to my plan, or improvise it. However, for sure I’ll do my best to get a victory."

'The Iron Man' Rodtang Jitmuangnon will stake the ONE flyweight Muay Thai world title against former foe Jacob Smith in a highly anticipated do-over.

They will rematch at ONE 169: Malykhin vs. Reug Reug on Prime Video, which broadcasts live from the historic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand on Friday, Nov. 8.

Fans in the United States and Canada can catch all the action live and absolutely free on Amazon Prime Video. Stay tuned to Sportskeeda MMA for all the latest news and updates surrounding the event as it happens.

Jacob Smith plans more tactical approach in Rodtang rematch at ONE 169: "I won't be reckless"

The United Kingdom's Jacob Smith is confident he will get the job done against 'The Iron Man' Rodtang Jitmuangnon in their rematch at ONE 169: Malykhin vs. Reug Reug on Prime Video.

And that's because he has learned from the mistakes he made in their initial encounter two years ago.

Smith told Combat Sports Today:

"If something arises where I can step on the gas and look for the finish, I'll be looking for the finish, 100%. But I won't be reckless doing it."
