“Without them, there wouldn't be a Rodtang today” – Rodtang says he fights to give a "great performance" for his fans

ONE flyweight Muay Thai superstar Rodtang Jitmuangnon is of the people, for the people, and according to him, by the people.

He is considered by many to be the greatest Muay Thai practitioner in the world today. ‘The Iron Man’ has developed into a fan favorite for his high-octane style of fighting, his granite jaw, and his raw intensity inside the circle.

The reigning ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion credited his success to the fans in a recent interview with ONE Championship:

“I could have a thousand belts, but if I can't give a great performance to entertain the fans, it is meaningless for me. I care for my fans... Without them, there wouldn't be a Rodtang today."

‘The Iron Man’ heads back to the circle this Friday night to defend his world championship against the reigning strawweight Muay Thai titleholder Joseph ‘The Hurricane’ Lasiri. The bout goes down at ONE on Prime Video 4, which will be available live and for free to subscribers of Amazon’s Prime Video streaming service.

Joseph Lasiri ready to face Rodtang Jitmuangnon

Joseph Lasiri will walk into his bout with Rodtang at ONE on Prime Video 4 as a significant underdog. It’s a familiar position for ‘The Hurricane’, who was largely dismissed after starting his ONE Championship career with a 0-4 record.

Since then, Lasiri has scored three straight spectacular wins, including a world title victory over Prajanchai PK.Saenchai at ONE 157.

While Lasiri would love to walk away with a second world title and the biggest win of his Muay Thai career, it’s more about challenging himself against the best in the world. Discussing the bout with ONE Championship, Lasiri said:
