‘The Iron Man’ Rodtang Jitmuangnon returns to the circle to defend his ONE flyweight Muay Thai world title against Joseph Lasiri. In a champion vs. champion clash, the strawweight Muay Thai world champ will move up a weight class to challenge the iconic Rodtang.
The long-reigning flyweight king has been on an unstoppable run in Muay Thai that has turned him into a star in ONE. November 18 will mark his second world title defense of the year as he looks to continue his dominance in the division.
Their match and the whole event can be watched by Prime Video subscribers across North America live and for free.
'The Iron Man' also competed this year in a historic mixed-rules contest with MMA legend and now ONE flyweight world champion Demetrious Johnson. Despite losing the fight, the flyweight Muay Thai champ was overwhelmingly dominant in the first round when the Muay Thai ruleset was in place.

Facing Joseph Lasiri, he believes that his challenger is in a similar position to the one he was in going into his match with Johnson. Speaking to ONE Championship, ‘The Iron Man’ said:
“There is nothing for him to lose even if he loses this fight. On the contrary, if he wins, he will get a massive reward. It is just like when I accepted to fight with Demetrious Johnson. Although I lost that match, I didn't feel the loss at all.”
The Italian-Moroccan, Joseph Lasiri, proved all of his doubters wrong in his last fight. He TKO'd Prajanchai P.K.Saenchai in the third round to win the ONE strawweight Muay Thai world title in a shocking upset.
Joseph Lasiri wants to "make Rodtang angry" and use his aggression against him
At ONE on Prime Video 4, ‘The Hurricane’ will move up a weight class for the most high-profile fight of his career to date. He'll attempt to win the ONE flyweight Muay Thai world title against the seemingly indestructible Rodtang Jitmuangnon.
Whilst a champion vs. champion match-up is a big enough fight on its own, the man standing across the cage from Lasiri turns this particular contest into a must-watch. 'The Iron Man' is one of the best strikers on the planet who has dominated the flyweight Muay Thai division.
Famous for his aggressive fighting style, Lasiri believes that this could be a potential weakness in his opponent. In an interview with ONE Championship, Lasiri explained why he would be playing with fire against ‘The Iron Man’:
“What is more comfortable? Fighting Rodtang [when he is moving] forward or fighting him technically? To me, I think it’s more comfortable to fight Rodtang if [he is going] forward. So, the game plan is to make Rodtang angry and then he will come to me.”
