Roman Dolidze scored an impressive victory against MMA legend Jack Hermansson this weekend at UFC Orlando, in what was a big step up for the Georgian fighter. Despite 'The Joker' being very well known in the MMA world, Dolidze claims to have been unaware of the Swede before accepting the fight.
While speaking to MMA Fighting after his performance in Orlando, Dolidze respectfully stated that he didn't know who 'The Joker' was. He added that he accepted the fight because of Hermansson's No.8-ranking in the UFC's middleweight division (transcribed via Yahoo Sports):
"You fight no-name people, you will be no name. If you fight people with names, you will go up and up. And that’s why I’m here. They offered me No. 8 and with all respect, I didn’t know who he is, what he do. I just said, ‘Of course I’m ready. Just ask him if he’s ready or not.'"

'The Caucasian' has now won his last four UFC outings, beating the likes of Laureano Staropoli, Kyle Daukaus, Phil Hawes, and Hermansson. Three of these wins have come via stoppage, with only Staropoli losing via decision.
