The upcoming super fight between Jonathan Haggerty and Superlek Kiatmoo9 in the main event of ONE 168: Denver on September 6 has already divided the combat sports community.

Other fighters and fellow ONE Championship athletes have also revealed their picks on social media. Most recently, ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon cast his choice on who he will support among the two striking superstars.

In an Instagram video that the promotion posted on Instagram, 'The Iron Man' shared his thoughts on the highly anticipated showdown and backed 'The Kicking Machine' to get the victory by stating:

"I'm rooting for my fellow Thai, so I want a Superlek win."

Rodtang is the perfect man to ask about this world title clash because he has already fought both athletes. He defeated 'The General' twice in August 2019 at ONE: Dawn of Heroes and in January 2020 at ONE: A New Tomorrow to become the undisputed flyweight Muay Thai king.

Meanwhile, Superlek handed the Jitmuangnon Gym-affiliated athlete a unanimous decision loss in September 2023 at ONE Friday Fights 34, his first Muay Thai defeat in ONE Championship.

Superlek gate-crashed Rodtang's fan meet in June at ONE Friday Fights 68

Following the incredibly exciting match, Rodtang and Superlek have developed a stronger friendship outside the ring. In fact, Superlek even gatecrashed Rodtang's fan meet this past June at ONE Friday Fights 68 and got his own dibs on the 27-year-old's signature and picture.

Hours after that wholesome moment, Superlek proceeded to win his co-main event battle against Kongthoranee Sor Sommai via unanimous decision to stretch his win streak to 10.

ONE 168: Denver will emanate from the Ball Arena in U.S. primetime on Sept. 6. Tickets for the event are available on Ticketmaster.
