Ryan Garcia is infuriated by the pro-LGBTQ stance that the 2024 Paris Olympics has showcased from day one. Some of its attempts at inclusion have prompted 'KingRy' to rant on social media.
Around 146 queer athletes are participating in the Olympics this time around, and the event organizers made sure to do right by the LGBTQ+ during the opening ceremony.
From Drag star Nicky Doll, Minima Geste, and Miss Martini carrying the Olympic torch to popular bisexual musician Lady Gaga performing during the opening, there was no shortage of PRIDE in the opening ceremonies.
However, a particular performance by members of the LGBTQ+ has sparked an international outrage. During the ceremony, 18 performers parodied Leonardo Da Vinci's 'Last Supper'.

This rendition featured scantily clad performers with a man painted in blue sitting in the middle of the supper table, with nothing on his body except vines covering his genitals.
As an astute believer in Christian principles, this must've been what pushed Garcia over the edge. The boxer called for his fans to boycott the Olympics in a series of social media posts.
In one of his posts on X, Garcia swore that he wouldn't let his son be gay, with a subsequent post reiterating the same:
"I'd slap the gay outta my son."
The controversial boxer's attacks grew more bold and questionable with each response. In another post, he wrote:
"BURN IN HELL TRANS PEOPLE."
'KingRy' continued his onslaught on the queer community, warning them not to cross paths with him while accusing them of pedophilia. Garcia did not stop there, going after the community in a barrage of subsequent posts.

He was far from the only one unhappy with the opening festivities. Former UFC fighter Brendan Schaub also posted about his issue with the games on social media.
Ryan Garcia calls for the Olympics to be boycotted: "You can't disrespect religion"
The LGBTQ+ rendition of Leonardo Da Vinci's 'Last Supper' has clearly upset boxing superstar Ryan Garcia. Apart from his long rant on X, 'KingRy' has also called for the Olympic games to be boycotted.
In a post on Instagram, the 25-year-old made a side-by-side comparison of the original painting to that of the Paris 2024 rendition. An enraged Garcia wrote:
"The Olympics needs to be boycotted now. You can't disrespect religion in front of millions. This ain't the right one to watch."
