Round 1: The fight opens with both men feinting. Garner on the front foot, trying to back Sharp up to the ropes. He succeeds for a split-second. Sharp looks like he's trying to counter him on his way inside. Not much offense from Garner, who is getting sniped by his opponent.

Sharp looks sharp, no pun intended, slipping punches and making Garner hit nothing but air. He's circling well, landing counters, but isn't able to dissuade Garner from continuing to pressure him. A left hand lands for Garner, who swings big and misses.

A jab lands for Sharp. Big right hand for Sharp. The round ends with a combination for Garner. 10-9 Sharp.

Round 2: Big swings from Garner, who backs Sharp into the corner. Sharp needs to gain Garner's respect. He's being walked down by an uber-aggressive Garner, who lands a nice left hook with his foe against the ropes. All Garner so far.

Another big left lands for Garner, who is determined to behead Sharp. More pressure from Garner, as Sharp spends the entire round backing up, but lands a nice body shot. Things get heated between both men at the end, requiring referee intervention. 10-9 Garner.

Round 3: Garner lands big and Sharp is back on the retreat, eating body shots. They clinch and the referee breaks it up. Dirty boxing devolves into more clinching. Both men are clinching more, but it returns to Sharp on his backfoot as he eats a hard hook from Garner, who is relentless.

Body jab lands for Garner. Sharp catches him with two check hooks in quick succession, buckling Garner. Uppercut to the body lands for Sharp. This is a tough round to score. 10-9 Garner.

Round 4: The round starts with a clinch and Sharp lifts him off the mat before a referee break. Sharp is back in the corner before long, with Garner unloading with combinations. While Sharp circles back into open space, even landing a nice uppercut to the body, he can't keep Garner off of him.

Garner eats a check hook but keeps advancing. He's hiding behind a high guard as he marches Sharp down and lands hard. Sharp makes him pay for his endless pressure with a hard body shot and check hook. Garner lands hard with Sharp against the ropes, bloodying him up a little.

Garner backs him up again, bullying him against the ropes. The round ends with a clinch and dirty boxing. 10-9 Garner.

Round 5: The round opens with an exchange, with Garner soon securing the initiative by pushing his foe back. They return to the center and exchange again, with both men landing. Sharp is investing in the body, Garner is trying to take his head off. More exchanges in the center.

They clinch and the referee breaks them up. They clinch again, prompting another break. More toe-to-toe exchanges and clinches. This is a very close round. Both men are swinging for the fences. A hard right lands for Garner and backs Sharp up to the ropes. A check hook lands for Garner and they clinch. 10-9 Garner.

Round 6: The referee warns both men to keep it clean and the fight starts with Garner on the front foot. He appears to stun Sharp along the ropes with a combination and pounces with a barrage of punches, prompting his opponent to clinch for some breathing room.

More clinching from Sharp, who lands an uppercut to the body. More clinching from Sharp, who rips to the body. Blood is trickling down from Sharp's left eyebrow, and it seems to be bothering as he keeps wiping it off. Both men exchange again, but Sharp keeps clinching. The round ends with another exchange. 10-9 Garner.

Round 7: More aggression from Garner, whose volume forces frequent clinches from Sharp. Garner gets over-aggressive and Sharp pivots out of the way, causing the former to nearly fall through the ropes. They're back on their feet and Sharp clinches.

A hard right hand lands for Garner and seems to stun Sharp. An uppercut to the body lands for Sharp who really digs into Garner's body. But Garner fires back with a thunderous right hand to end the round. 10-9 Garner.

Round 8: Garner backs Sharp up with a one-two, but his opponent is moving well, trying to stay off the ropes. Nevertheless, Garner stays on the front foot, cutting off his angles of escape and landing here and there. A check hook lands for Garner. Sharp doubles his jab but falls short of landing.

Sharp lands a hard overhand right, intercepting a lunge from Garner. The pressure from Garner remains though. They clinch, exchange, and clinch again. They clinch again and Sharp throws some body shots before the round ends. 10-9 Sharp.

Round 9: Garner on the front foot again, with his combinations keeping Sharp against the ropes, who eats a lead uppercut. They clinch, with Sharp smothering Garner's punches. A nice combination lands for Garner, who blasts Sharp with left hooks. More clinching from Sharp.

They exchange in the center, with both men landing. More clinching from Sharp, who is struggling to stifle Garner's offense. He does land a hook to the body though. The referee warns them about clinching and head clashes as the round ends with another wild exchange and clinch. 10-9 Garner.

Round 10: Sharp backed Garner up for a moment, but finds himself on the backfoot again. Garner is swinging for the fences, but missing as Sharp is moving well. Both men land. The exchanges are piling up now, with Sharp investing in the body.

This is a good round for Sharp, who is pressing the action, but it may very well be too little too late. More body shots land for Sharp. The round ends with a wild exchange and clinch. 10-9 Sharp.
