Fight fans have been riled up by the scorecards of Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk. This past weekend, the Ukrainian achieved undisputed heavyweight laurels as he beat 'The Gypsy King' via split decision. However, many in the pugilistic world are baffled by how one scorecard favored the Briton.
While the fight was far from a one-sided beat down, Usyk wobbled his opponent a few times and even claimed himself one 10-8 round during the contest. But while two judges saw the fight going the 37-year-old's way, judge Craig Metcalfe ruled the contest 114-113 in Fury's favor.
Suffice to say, boxing fans were far from happy with the ruling, prompting them to flood social media raging at the scorecards.

According to online chatter, fans were primarily worked up by the judge giving Fury Rounds 2 and 11, which they believe 'The Gypsy King' clearly lost.
@TheCameoIsHere blasted the judge writing:
"My god he gave Round 2 and 11 to Tyson. Sack that man now."

"Giving Fury the second [round] is absolutely criminal."

With the win, Usyk became the first man to defeat Fury in his professional career. Moreover, he is the first undisputed heavyweight champion in the four-belt era and also the first one to unify all the titles in more than two decades.
'The Cat' now holds an undefeated record of 22-0. However, it doesn't seem he would be able to retain the undisputed title for long. Usyk is reportedly contractually obliged to vacate the IBF title before Filip Hrgovic vs. Daniel Dubois on June 1.
