‘Super’ Sage Northcutt has sparked praise online yet again after delivering a textbook spinning back kick ahead of his return at ONE Fight Night 10.

The American standout showed off his karate skills this week against a heavy punching bag that left MMA fans in awe.

On May 5, ‘Super’ Sage will try to re-establish a foothold in the world of mixed martial arts when he confronts Pakistani ‘Wolverine’ Ahmed Mujtaba in front of a large US audience in Colorado. His anticipated return comes after having been on a four-year layoff due to a series of health issues and injuries that required long-periods of recovery time.

Although recovery hasn’t been easy, the Team Alpha Male representative is now happy to put the past behind him and get back to competing again at a very high level. Over the last nine weeks, Northcutt has been training hard with his team to restore his reputation as an action-packed MMA fighter.

His debut loss against Cosmo Alexander in May 2019 was a bitter pill to swallow but he has since adopted a winning mindset and is ready to bring the heat to his future rival.

Standing in front of him will be Ahmed Mujtaba, who is fresh off his second straight stoppage against Abraao Amorim last November. He’s a well-rounded MMA fighter with a dangerous ground game, so he will be a tough one to beat.

But if we remember anything from Sage Northcutt’s early beginnings, he’s just as proficient in ending fights as his rival.

So, fans are going to love watching this one because both men are going to go out there and trade blows until there’s only one man standing.
