Sage Northcutt has fans hyped for his return at ONE Fight Night 10

‘Super’ Sage Northcutt has fans on Instagram hyped up for his return to action at ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video with a new promotional poster, ONE Championship, released this week.

The American superstar will face Pakistani-born contender ‘Wolverine’ Ahmed Mujtaba in an action-packed lightweight showdown at 1st Bank Center in Colorado. It will be his first appearance inside the Circle after nearly four years.

Hyped by the new art poster, Northcutt heralded his fans on Instagram to tune in on May 5 to watch his fight. The comment section was immediately flooded with praise from fans with Instagram user @azizcalims cheering:

“Goodluck My Brotha ! Full support Oss !”

@bearloebedotcom also added:

“The return of SuperSage!!!”

‘Super’ Sage is looking to snap back from a debut loss after getting stopped by Cosmo Alexandre at ONE: Enter the Dragon back in May 2019. The 26-year-old slugger hasn’t competed since then due to a number of injuries and health issues that required months of recovery time.

Before being invited to return, Northcutt was previously scheduled to appear at ONE on TNT 4 in Singapore to face No.5 ranked lightweight Shinya Aoki, but the bout unfortunately fell through as Northcutt struggled to recover from COVID-19.

Despite experiencing a mountain-full of setbacks, ‘Super’ Sage never lost hope that he would one day have a return date to ONE Championship. Meanwhile, Ahmed Mujtaba is coming back with a little bit of momentum following back-to-back stoppages over Abraao Amorim and Rahul Raju.

So, expect nothing short of a full-out war between Sage Northcutt and Ahmed Mujtaba at ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video.
