At ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video, Sage Northcutt will make his long anticipated return to competition against Ahmed Mujtaba.
Northcutt’s debut with ONE Championship had a lot of hype around it but it didn’t go his way. Four years ago, Northcutt was defeated by Cosmo Alexandre in the opening round and suffered injuries that forced him to take time away from the spotlight.
After going through his recovery process and battling COVID-19, ‘Super’ Sage is finally ready to make his comeback. On top of that, he now has the perfect stage to do it on, with ONE Championship hosting its first ever event in the United States.
Live from 1stBank Center in Colorado, Northcutt will step inside the circle for the second time when he faces Ahmed Mujtaba.

After such a long period of inactivity, Northcutt has a tough test on his hands when he takes on Pakistan’s Mujtaba who is coming off of back-to-back first round finishes.
In a recent interview with The MMA Superfan, Sage Northcutt spoke about his opponent and what he learned from watching his recent fights under the ONE banner:
“I went back and watched his last couple of fights and my coaches too obviously. He had a solid knockout a couple of fights back and in his last fight he had a very unique submission, a triangle with an arm and a leg. So you don’t always see that too often so I’m super excited for it, my first fight back.”
