Sage Northcutt's physique hasn't changed in his time away from the sport

Sage Northcutt has been away from the spotlight for a long time, but that doesn’t mean the Karate prodigy has changed too much.

Now 26 years old, Sage has been away from competition for four years after needing to take time away from the sport to heal from some injuries. He was also kept away from the circle due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but now that both things have been put behind him, he is ready to return at ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video.

‘Super’ Sage became one of the most talked about prospects in MMA during his time competing in the UFC, a promotion he left to sign with ONE Championship in 2018.

Whilst his accomplishments in martial arts spoke for themselves, Northcutt's looks are what initially captured everyone’s eyes. With a physique and style that seemed more in line with an action figure than an actual person, Sage Northcutt was a living and breathing superhero.

In an interview with Great Day Colorado ahead of his return to competition, Sage revealed that his trademark physical appearance hasn’t changed one bit in the time he has been away:

“Alright, biggest thing, I always got the abs. I work ‘em hard. But the biggest thing is eating healthy, obviously putting in the hard work, training a lot. I do train a ton.”

ONE Fight Night 7 is live and free in North America via Prime Video.
