Promising bantamweight Saidyokub Kakhramonov was released last week from the UFC and it clearly came as a surprise to everyone.

Prior to the UFC Roster Watch Twitter account breaking the news on Twitter, Kakhramonov himself revealed to his fans that he was cut by the promotion:

“Before you see my name on the UFC Roster watch lol UFC releasing me after 1 lost smh. I never had fair shake in the ufc 3 fights almost in 2 years. Every time I walked into cage it felt like my debut. Sh*t 3 fights in 2 years? Feels like they brought me in to lose.”

He later deleted the tweet but took to Twitter again to rant about his release after just a single loss to a ranked opponent in three fights inside the octagon. He mentioned the long journey he had made from Uzbekistan for his debut on short notice:

"F**k everyone man I had to fly 20+hours for my debut without training 5 days notice. From UZB - Vegas 12 hours difference still won my debut. So f**k y’all I’m the best."

Kakhramonov also addressed his weight-cutting miss and put down his debut performance to innate ability:

"Yeah I missed weight 2.5 pds but still I was smoking hookah daily clubbing f**king all that. If you know how to fight you know how to fight. [shrug emoji]"

Saidyokub Kakhramonov fought only thrice in the octagon and had two impressive wins against Trevin Jones and Ronnie Lawrence that led fans to tout him as a bonafide prospect. His only loss and final appearance for the promotion came against ranked opponent Said Nurmagomedov via submission.

Saidyokub Kakhramonov defends Conor McGregor for promoting his teammates on TUF

Conor McGregor will return to the UFC by coaching in 'The Ultimate Fighter' (TUF) Season 31 this year. He will go up against Michael Chandler as an opposing coach before facing the lightweight contender after the conclusion of the show.

McGregor has been accused of bumping off participants in TUF's upcoming season in favor of his own teammates. Saidyokub Kakhramonov came to the Irishman's defense and cited the quality of the fighters as a valid reason for his actions:

"All you bums mad at Connor for putting his boys in lmao. Look at the list of the guys smh they all deserve to go home honestly. [shrug emoji]"

Check out his tweet below:

McGregor himself denied the rumors in a now-deleted tweet in reply to UFC middleweight Chris Curtis.
