Scott Storch reflects on life-changing relationship with Paris Hilton and how it brough drastic shift to his life on Joe Rogan's podcast

Joe Rogan is well-known for discussing a wide range of topics on his podcast, the Joe Rogan Experience. The UFC commentator recently hosted guest Scott Storch on episode #2233 of JRE.

The Grammy Award-winning producer opened up about his relationship with socialite Paris Hilton, revealing how it changed his life, stating:

"I was balanced and healthy and doing what I loved to do, but I felt like I was yearning for something bad... This girl ended up showing up at my doorstep, a very famous girl. I'm not playing the blame game or anything, but a course of events happened. Paris Hilton shows up at my door, initially, to work on music and we ended up connecting and I learned this whole new way of life with paparazzi and being next to her and then inevitably hooking up with her and we're now an item."

Storch continued:

"We're having tons of fun, we're good friends, but I think we're both using each other in a certain way where I'm so excited to be next to this girl who's the coolest, most famous girl in the world. She's my girl. And her passion at that time was music and she was next to me, who I'm the No.1 music producer in the world at the time. Then, it went on and then inevitably the night life led to f**king cocaine."

Storch added that everything was great for the first year he was using cocaine before everything went downhill. He compared his usage to the film Blow, based on the life of drug trafficker George Jung, noting that it caused his relationships to deteriorate quickly.

Scott Storch discusses meeting Dr. Dre with Joe Rogan

Scott Storch got his big break in the music industry when he signed to Dr. Dre's record label Aftermath Entertainment. During his recent appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience, Storch opened up on his first time meeting the influential music icon.

Speaking to host Joe Rogan, the music producer revealed that rapper Eve made the introduction after signing to the label. He noted that he went to Los Angeles before adding:

"I go and I meet up with Dre and I'm waiting for him to come out. I'm in the lobby nervous as he**. I don't have anything to play for him. I have my fingers, that's about it. And I go into a room and he sits me down. He's like, 'I hear you're good at them keys'. I start playing for him and this and that and he's real quiet and just listening. I'm like, 'ah, nothing's coming from this, I'm going to go home sad today'."

Storch added that Larry Chatman, the head of production at Aftermath Entertainment, came into the room and informed him that Dr. Dre wanted him to stick around. He noted that he had plans to return to Philadelphia, but instead was booked a hotel and given money. The record producer ultimately wound up signing to the label.
