UFC welterweight contender Sean Brady had a dominant outing at UFC Vegas 97 that left many in MMA community impressed. Brady went up against former title challenger Gilbert Burns in a five-round welterweight showdown. The clash took place on Sept. 7 at the UFC Apex facility in Enterprise, Nevada.
Brady outclassed 'Durinho' for the majority of the fight which went the 25-minute distance. In the end, the 31-year-old got his hand raised via unanimous decision. The three judges scored the fight 50-45, 50-45 and 49-46 in favor of Brady.
Brady's performance caught the attention of several prominent names in the MMA community, who shared their reactions to the fight on social media.

UFC welterweight champion Belal Muhammad, who has victories over both Burns and Brady, shared how the latter could prove to be a tough challenge for the UFC welterweights.
"Man, Brady is gonna be tough to beat."
Former lightweight king Rafael dos Anjos hailed the five-round encounter as the best scrap of the card.
"'Fight of the Night' [bonus] for these guys!"
MMA journalist Ariel Helwani opined that Brady looked his best self in the UFC Vegas 97 main event.
"Considering the opponent, that's the best version of Sean Brady we've seen. Hope he gets some respect now. Very dominant UD win over Gilbert Burns."
Former multi-division champion Henry Cejudo mentioned the possibility of a rematch between Brady and Muhammad in the future.
"Props to Brady. He really showed out this fight and proved he is a top contender for the belt! Is Muhammad and Brady 2 in our future!?"
Stephen Thompson mentioned the incident where the two fighters landed illegal groin strikes on each other.
