Sean O'Malley recently re-visited his brief encounter with Aljamain Sterling and Merab Dvalishvili at the UFC Performance Institute (PI).

The No.1-ranked bantamweight was seen catching up with Sterling and Dvalishvili in the PI's cafeteria and enquiring about their weight. The 135-pound trio shared a brief interaction, which you can watch below:

"Didn't feel awkward, I've met them both before... Then I saw Aljo say... That I was scared or something... I thought it was friendly. I was just in line getting some food and they walked over."

Sean O'Malley further revealed that he has signed a new eight-fight contract with the UFC and even claimed that he negotiated the terms himself:

"I will say I did re-sign with the UFC. I got a very gracious contract that I’m proud of. I offered that, I asked for this, they said no, they said yes... I got a number that I’m very happy with."

Sean O'Malley on Alexander Volkanovski vs. Islam Makhachev

Sean O'Malley recently claimed that if there is any fighter capable of getting the better of Islam Makhachev, it would be Alexander Volkanovski. 'Sugar' recently shared his opinion on next week's lightweight title fight between the two top-ranked pound-for-pound fighters.

Makhachev defeated Charles Oliveira via second-round submission at UFC 280 to win the vacant UFC lightweight title and will be looking to defend his championship for the first time at UFC 284 next weekend. The 31-year-old will face reigning featherweight champion and pound-for-pound king Volkanovski in Australia on February 12.

On an earlier episode of The BrOMalleyShow, Sean O'Malley opined that 'The Great' is currently the toughest opponent that Makhachev could face:

"What I was trying to say about Alexander Volkanovski, he’s mastered his style. He’s shorter, he’s compact. Is he going to be able to get taken down and held down? You would assume yes... But I think if anyone can do it, it is Alexander Volkanovski..."
