During a recent episode of the TimboSugarShow podcast, the top bantamweight contender and his coach Tim Welch discussed the welterweight fight on the main card of UFC Brazil.
Reacting to the matchup, O'Malley said:
"Gilbert Burns vs. Neil Magny...that's an interesting fight flying under the radar. Gilbert Burns is always fun to watch... Magny is always f**king surprising."
Adding to Sean O'Malley's comments, coach Welch predicted the fight would end with 'Durinho' getting his hand raised:
"Neil Magny is a f**king nice dude, too. I feel like Gilbert might end up getting his [Magny's] back... I think Gilbert might take him down and then Neil [Magny] makes some mistakes getting up, and Gilbert capitalizes."

Sean O'Malley discusses drawing inspiration from boxing legend Floyd Mayweather's work ethic
On the latest episode of the TimboSugarShow podcast, Sean O'Malley talked about the remarkable career of boxing legend Floyd Mayweather. O'Malley shared how he was motivated by watching videos of Mayweather's training sessions.
The 28-year-old said:
"I was watching a bunch of Floyd stuff, but that motherf**ker would train like three or four times a day, like an hour at a time. Hit the bags, but constantly having his heart rate probably - I don't know, nothing spiked, maybe too crazy, but you see him hit mitts, hit the bag. Dude, it's so f**king sweet. 50-0, retired at the top, didn't lose. It's inspirational. I'm trying to be 50-0."
Further on, the bantamweight also commended the retired boxer's work ethic and said:
"Didn't get knocked out. Had some hard fights. Fought the best guys. Just his work ethic. You don't get 50-0, you don't become Floyd without a crazy work ethic. It's constantly running, hitting the bag, hitting mitts, but it's like that motherf**ker had chicks around him all day when he wasn't so he found balance. He has some serious genes, some serious athletic genes."
