Former UFC bantamweight champion 'Sugar' Sean O'Malley is back at his trolling ways after losing his belt at Noche UFC 306. In a recent video uploaded on Instagram today, O'Malley once again showcased the inside of his home gym/garage.
With a heavy bag behind him, the former 135-pound champ spoke to the camera, saying:
"What's up guys. I have surgery October 3rd. Doesn't mean I'm not gonna continue to improve and take away the things that I learned from my last fight. And [going to] start implementing that."
O'Malley then proceeded to comically hug the heavy bag while landing about a dozen knee strikes on it. While he is poking fun at the current champion Merab Dvalishvili, O'Malley is subtly criticizing the "significant strikes" that arguably won Dvalishvili the fight.

Sean O'Malley rewatches Noche UFC 306 main event: "This is a f*cking close fight"
Days after his loss to Merab Dvalishvili at Noche UFC 306, 'Sugar' Sean O'Malley sat down with his coach Tim Welch, alongside two other friends to rewatch the fight and provide some real-time breakdown of what happened.
Coming into the fifth and final round, O'Malley and company ruled the bout 2-2, meaning whoever got the next round would have been declared the winner.
O'Malley said (3:00):
"I know the haters are gonna comment what they want, but if someone rewatched this with judging in mind, this is a f*cking close fight. 2-2 going into the fifth [round]."
The fifth round saw O'Malley seemingly hurting Dvalishvili with front kicks to the body, in which he claimed should have been ruled a 10-8 round. With the fighters tied two rounds a piece in the first four and the final frame going the way it did, the former champ concluded that he should have retained his throne inside the Sphere that night.
The former champion concluded (3:28):
"The narrative around this f*cking fight was I got my *ss whooped. I'm going to ask the UFC if they would please post that fight on YouTube. I won the first, third and fifth rounds. And I challenge all you f*cking little dorks that think that I got my *ss kicked to go on and rewatch that fight."
