Sean Strickland recently sounded off on California and slammed the state's citizens for consistently voting for the Democrats. The former UFC middleweight champion called California an "over-taxed sh*thole" and listed a host of problems that seemingly plague the state.
Strickland is known for his outspoken nature and rarely holds back from expressing his thoughts in a raw manner. In a recent X post, 'Tarzan' questioned why the Democrats were voted into power and wrote:
"I just can't wrap my head around democrats in California. You're state is an over-taxed shit hole. It's filled with homeless. English is a second language. The schools are overfilled with anchor babies. Criminals have free reign to steal. And yet you still vote for democrats."
Fans soon flocked to the X post's comments section to express their thoughts.

Robert Whittaker on Sean Strickland potentially rematching Dricus du Plessis
Former UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker recently shared his thoughts on Sean Strickland running it back with Dricus du Plessis. The Australian predicted that the South African would beat Strickland again and lauded his tenacity as a fighter.
During an interview with Submission Radio, Whittaker addressed the possibility of du Plessis fighting Strickland again. He pointed out that 'Stillknocks' wasn't an easy fighter to walk down, and Strickland would have to be "locked in" for all five rounds to stand a chance against him. He said:
"If you give him any space, if you give him any opportunity to crawl back in, he just keeps coming...You cannot give him any space. You cannot let him in. You cannot give him opportunity. You cannot relax. You cannot sit on your laurels. You need to be wired on, locked in, for 25 minutes."
Whittaker predicted the outcome of a potential du Plessis-Strickland fight and said:
"I think Dricus, still. Dricus is a hard fight, he just has that insane pressure, and willingness to get hit, to land hits, and he wins that fight a lot of the time. I think he's a hard fight for a lot of people."
