Sean Strickland sounds off on "mass data collection" in latest social media rant: "Zuck is making the Anti-Christ smart glasses"

Sean Strickland has come out, as he often does, swinging at the world's latest developments. This time, he has taken to X/Twitter to criticize Mark Zuckerberg's previewed augmented reality glasses, which 'Tarzan' characterizes as yet another means of collecting private consumer data.

He lambasted Zuckerberg and the technology industry as a whole, calling on them to sell their products to consumers and sell nothing else, especially not the private information of the consumers themselves.

"Mass data collection.... How is this still a thing?! Zuck is making the Anti-Christ smart glasses... You all understand it's just a way to farm data.. Data to manipulate you, data to brainwash you, data to enslave you. We gotta go to WAR with big tech..."

While this is Strickland's latest crusade on social media, the former UFC middleweight champion is currently more preoccupied with recapturing his title. This entails rematching Dricus du Plessis, who dethroned him for divisional gold at UFC 297 via controversial split-decision.

Strickland has repeatedly claimed that he had done enough to get his hand raised. Moreover, he accused the judges at UFC 297, which was held in Canada, of being biased against him due to his political opinions. He alleged that this was the motivating factor behind the 'robbery' in his loss to du Plessis.

After beating Paulo Costa to rebound from the defeat, he vowed to sit out in wait for a rematch with du Plessis, the latter of whom seems disinterested in taking on Strickland again, no matter 'Tarzan's' incessant callouts.

This isn't the first time Sean Strickland has disapproved of Mark Zuckerberg

Just last year, when the rumor mill was overflowing with talk of an Elon Musk vs. Mark Zuckerberg MMA bout, Sean Strickland shared his thoughts on the matter. In a series of tweets, he again scoffed at Zuckerberg's high-tech glasses and Meta's alleged data manipulation practices before offering to train Musk for the bout.

"Man f*** Mark Zuckerberg.. Dirty communist.... No one wants your goggles and your disinformation censorship.... but Facebook market gets a pass.... @elonmusk come to Vegas. We will put in work!"

Ultimately, the fight never materialized, with Musk revealing that he was never seriously considering a sanctioned fight.
