Sean Strickland recently added his name to the list of MMA enthusiasts firing shots at Jon Jones. Currently, the UFC heavyweight champ is the primary target of several MMA fans because of his negligence towards the interim heavyweight champ, Tom Aspinall's callouts. But Strickland dissed Jones due to a completely different reason.
Strickland has a reputation for voicing his opinions loud and clear about various social and political issues.
A recent tweet from Strickland highlighted how society often ignores the dark deeds of famous people. He portrayed an imaginary situation about how society would look down on someone who uses steroids, has a history of domestic violence, has also hit a pregnant woman and then ran off the spot.
The legal offenses Strickland mentioned were enough to realize that he was talking about Jones, who continues to be respected despite committing the same acts.

"It's so odd to me how famous people get the free pass. Picture if I said, "Hello, I want you to meet my friend, Bob. Bob does steroids, Bob beats up women in front of kids, Bob hit a pregnant woman and drove away". You'd say "Fu*k Bob". Lmao! Society is very strange."
Sean Strickland debunks notion of Khamzat Chimaev being next in line for a title shot
Sean Strickland lost his middleweight gold to Dricus du Plessis in a very close encounter at UFC 297. Following the fight, a large chunk of the fanbase expressed their desire to watch a rematch between the two.
But Khamzat Chimaev's dominant performance at UFC 308 against Robert Whittaker cemented his status as one of the most deserving contenders for a shot at the middleweight gold. In an interview with TMZ Sports, du Plessis also stated the same and said:
"He [Chimaev] went there and became the first guy to submit Rob and he did it in the first round. So that warrants a jump the gun on Sean Strickland for me. [Chimaev should get a shot before Strickland]."

However, Strickland doubled down on his narrative of being the next in line right after the end of UFC 308. He tweeted:
"Understand one thing. I am next in line. Its been said, its been written. [In] January/February, me and @dricusduplessis are scrapping. Go back to Chechnya and wait a few months. Wait. Sorry UAE. You're not allowed in Chechnya. But hey, crypto scams while you wait."
