Sean Strickland believes Alex Pereira should live a more extravagant lifestyle, considering the latter's success. According to 'Tarzan', with the Brazilian having the status he does, he should spend his free time hooking up with supermodels.
Since making his UFC debut in 2022, 'Poatan' has become one of the biggest stars in combat sports. In just eight fights in the promotion, Pereira has won and lost the middleweight title across a two-fight series with kickboxing rival Israel Adesanya, captured the 205-pound belt, defended the title twice, and headlined the historic UFC 300 card.
Among his eight fights in the UFC, one of Pereira's victories came against Strickland, knocking him out in the first round. Since then, the pair have struck up an unlikely friendship and both have been involved with helping the other in their future fight camps.

Most recently, Strickland has been enlisted to help Pereira prepare for his upcoming light heavyweight title defense against Khalil Rountree at UFC 307. Popular MMA interviewer Nina-Marie Daniele visited the Brazilian's fight camp, where she caught 'Tarzan' offering some advice to the champion.
Strickland hilariously suggested that Pereira is living his life the wrong way, saying:
"You're rich. You should be with like f*cking models bro. I know you grew up in the f*cking jungles and you hunted some deer. But that's not you anymore, Alex. That's not you anymore. You don't work in a tire shop. It's better now! Life is good now bro, let's get some supermodels!"

Alex Pereira reaffirms his desire to become the middleweight champion once again
Alex Pereira recently reiterated his desire to drop back down to middleweight in order to reclaim the title.
'Poatan' hasn't competed at 185 pounds since last April, when he lost the belt to Israel Adesanya. He then opted to move up a weight class and has looked unstoppable, winning his debut bout in the division before then picking up the 205-pound strap and defending it on two occasions.
Despite his dominance in the newer division, Pereira isn't yet done with being a middleweight. In a recent interview with The Schmo, the Brazilian stated that he wants to be a simultaneous champion who defends both titles.
"I would like [a fight against Dricus du Plessis] to be at middleweight. I told everybody that I just needed a break from 185 [pounds], from all those weight cuts. I feel good, I feel healthy right now like everybody saw...I think I can do more fights [at middleweight]."
