Joaquin Buckley has been paying close attention to Colby Covington's Twitch activity. During their final face-off ahead of UFC Tampa, the surging welterweight vowed to end Covington's career and permanently relegate him to streaming.
'Chaos' has been particularly active on Twitch lately. Most of his live streams feature online gambling sessions and fan Q&As about his UFC fighting career. In recent streams, he has addressed many topics, including the loss to Leon Edwards and the upcoming fight against Buckley.
During the ceremonial weigh-ins for UFC Tampa, 'New Mansa' took a sly dig at Covington's recent Twitch activity, saying:
"Look, this dude been quiet, he plays a character, now he wants to be soft with it. So at the end of the day man, we're going to go out in that cage bro, we're going to retire this man and send his a** off to Twitch, let's get it."

Buckley has gone 5-0 in the UFC since dropping down to welterweight, most recently clinching a knockout win over Stephen 'Wonderboy' Thompson.
On the other hand, while Covington has long been a top contender in the division, he is 2-3 in his last five, most recently conceding a unanimous decision loss to former champion Edwards. Additionally, he doesn't hold a win over any of the current welterweight top 15.
