Surging UFC heavyweight Sergei Pavlovich has no competition when it comes to his knockdown averages per 15 minutes. The Russian contender holds a record of 6.67 knockdowns landed per 15 minutes on average.

Next in line with a score of 4.27 is former UFC middleweight Drew McFedries, whose promotional career ended with a 5-4 record. Following close behind with 4.02 knockdowns per 15 minutes is Chris Daukaus, another surging heavyweight.

The list mostly features heavyweights, with former KO artists like Todd Duffee and Shane Carwin coming in at the third and fourth spots, respectively. Current active fighters like Tom Aspinall, Conor McGregor and Adrian Yanez are also ranked, although a long way off from Pavlovich.

Pavlovich also holds the record for the shortest fight time of 2:15 minutes on average.

The Eagles MMA representative is coming off a dominant first-round knockout win over fellow KO artist Tai Tuivasa. The heavyweight prospect, with a record of 17-1, handed 'Bam Bam' his second consecutive loss by brutally finishing him with strikes within the very first minute to earn a $50k performance bonus. Pavlovich has never seen the second round of a fight in his UFC career. Even his only professional loss, which was in his promotional debut, occurred within the opening frame of the first round.

Sergei Pavlovich's win over Tai Tuivasa has tied him with Islam Makhachev for yet another record

Sergei Pavlovich's brutal knockout win over Tai Tuivasa extended his KO streak to five, which is the highest among active UFC fighters. Pavlovich also tied with lightweight champion Islam Makhachev and up-and-comer Jalin Turner for the most active finish streak with four.

In his last outing, Pavlovich decimated legendary knockout artist Derrick Lewis in a similar fashion back in July. The Russian's recent win over Tuivasa has now brought him to everyone's notice, with his name even coming up in title talks. Former UFC heavyweight Corey Anderson suggested that Pavlovich might even be scarier than the champion Francis Ngannou himself.

"Idk who's scarier right now... Sergei or Francis?! Both have massive power! One has devastating kicks other has dominating wrestling.... Needless to say I look forward to that match up!

Tanner Boser also called for a title fight between Sergei Pavlovich and 'The Predator.' Meanwhile, Belal Muhammad suggested that the UFC heavyweight contender could beat Tyson Fury in boxing.
