Shamil Erdogan looking to risk stand up war with Aung La N Sang at ONE 168: “I want to show what I’ve learned”

Unbeaten Turkish middleweight MMA sensation Shamil Erdogan is willing to walk into the line of fire and trade strikes with one of the most dangerous stand-up fighters in ONE Championship.

Erdogan is heading into his second fight in the world's largest martial arts organization against an absolute legend in 'The Burmese Python' Aung La N Sang, and the 34-year-old says he has no qualms standing in the middle of the cage to exchange blows.

Speaking to ONE Championship in a recent interview, the undefeated Erdogan says he can't wait to mix it up against Aung La N Sang.

The 34-year-old said:

"I will fight him both in stand-up and in wrestling. There will be no ‘just wrestling.’ I’ve been spending a lot of time on my striking technique lately, and I want to show what I’ve learned."
