UFC welterweight champion Belal Muhammad's manager, Ali Abdelaziz recently told MMA Junkie that the 36-year-old will most likely fight in May. The MMA community has now responded to the much-anticipated return of Muhammad.

'Remember the Name' was all set to make his first title defense against undefeated contender Shavkat Rakhmonov at UFC 310. However, Muhammad withdrew from the fight because of a bone infection. Meanwhile, Rakhmonov remained undefeated after emerging victorious over Ian Machado Garry during the same event.

Championship Rounds on X made the same revelation of Muhammad's return and posted:

"Belal Muhammad's manager, Ali Abdelaziz, says he believes Belal will be fighting in May 👀"

The fans soon rushed to the comments section to share their reactions. A netizen who believes that the Kazakh phenom will dominate the current welterweight king commented on the post and stated:

Belal Muhammad eager to prove his supremacy

Belal Muhammad was in attendance at UFC 310 when Shavkat Rakhmonov beat Ian Garry by unanimous decision.

After the fight, Muhammed shared his opinion on Rakhmonov in an interview with TNT Sports. He said:

"I'm excited right because I was supposed to fight him now, so I was studying him watching tape on him. Now he just gave me an extra 25 minutes to watch. So I just want to get back in there…I’m hyped. I can’t wait to get in there and I can’t wait to show the world that there’s level to this. I’m the best in the world.”
