ONE strawweight MMA constant Lito Adiwang is among the many fans who will closely watch the ONE interim women's atomweight MMA world championship showdown between compatriot Denice Zamboanga and Alyona Rassohyna.
Their matchup will take place in the undercard of ONE Fight Night 27 on Friday, Jan. 10, inside the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News, 'Thunder Kid' highlighted Zamboanga's advantage in the striking department as her most important weapon:
"Striking-wise, I think for as long as [Zamboanga] has prepared for it, she'll have the advantage because of her boxing. She also has kicks in her arsenal. It might come in sparingly, but it's powerful."

Zamboanga and Rassohyna were set to duel over the interim crown at ONE Fight Night 25 in October. However, the Filipina withdrew from the fight after re-aggravating her hamstring injury during training camp.
Meanwhile, Adiwang will have his own business to attend to in a few weeks. He is gunning for his fourth straight win at the expense of Keito Yamakita at ONE Fight Night 28 on Feb. 8, which also occurs at the Lumpinee Stadium.
ONE Fight Night 27 will air live and free to all Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.
Denice Zamboanga prepared for Alyona Rassohyna to push the pace
Denice Zamboanga and Alyona Rassohyna are both vying for the eventual unification bout with women's atomweight MMA queen Stamp Fairtex once she gets the green light to fight again after her injury rehab. This is why 'The Menace' expects a tough outing versus Rassohyna at ONE Fight Night 27.
In an interview with ONE, the Filipina standout said:
"I feel like she's gonna come out hungry. Her hunger to win will be there. Her inspiration would be her family, for sure. That's why I expect her to be training really hard for this fight."
