Jackie Buntan has only fallen short once in seven matches in the world's largest martial arts organization.
That said, Anissa Meksen has taken a keen interest in the Filipina-American's lone blemish at the hands of former women's strawweight Muay Thai world champion Smilla Sundell.
'C18' will duke it out with Buntan in the first of three world title fights in the ultra-stacked ONE 169 mega-event at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, this coming Nov. 8.
To claim the inaugural women's strawweight kickboxing world championship, Meksen revealed she'll take a page out of 'The Hurricane's playbook and force Jackie Buntan on the defensive.

The French-Algerian multi-time world champion shared in an interview with the South China Morning Post:
"Yeah, because Smilla [Sundell] is very tall, she’s very strong, and she pushed her. She stepped forward a lot, and she didn’t like it. That’s why maybe there’s something there that I could do in our fight."
Jackie Buntan thrives when she's the one pushing the action and unloading her wicked-fast punch combinations.
However, as Meksen observed, Sundell exposed that the Boxing Works product doesn't do too well on the backfoot.
We'll soon see if Meksen can capitalize on this perceived weakness at ONE 169.
Anissa Meksen reveals the significance of beating Jackie Buntan to her career
Anissa Meksen has no animosity whatsoever against Jackie Buntan and will approach this battle as strictly business.
'C18' has struck gold everywhere she goes and has made it her personal mission to claim that coveted ONE Championship hardware.
The Phuket Fight Club affiliate said in the same interview:
"This is the only belt missing from my collection, that’s why it’s my goal now. It’s my dream now, simply. I want this belt and I really want to make this dream come true."
ONE 169: Malykhin vs. Reug Reug will air live in US primetime free of charge for Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.
