Filipina MMA star Denice Zamboanga braces herself for a tough battle with Alyona Rassohyna on Jan. 10 at ONE Fight Night 27, as they will lock horns for the ONE interim atomweight MMA world title.
Zamboanga spoke to Spin.ph in a recent interview, where she talked about how she feels about the approach that Rassohyna will have on fight night, as she stated:
"I feel like she's gonna come out hungry. Her hunger to win will be there. Her inspiration would be her family for sure."

The current number two-ranked atomweight contender rides a three-fight win streak, and her latest victory was against Noelle Grandjean in June 2024 at ONE 167 with a unanimous decision nod from the judges.
This became her ticket to earning another shot at the coveted 26-pound golden belt. Overall, Denice Zamboanga holds an impressive record of six wins and only two losses in the world's largest martial arts organization.
Denice Zamboanga aims to test Alyoha Rassohyna's grappling game at ONE Fight Night 27
The T-Rex Mixed Martial Arts Training Center representative has also recently revealed her fight plan against the Ukrainian MMA star and shared it in her recent interview with ONE Championship.
According to Zamboanga, she is looking to test the 34-year-old veteran's grappling game because she wants to show that her skills are far superior to Rassohyna by saying:
"I want to test her grappling. I haven't seen her face a pure grappler or wrestler, as she's faced strikers. That's why she always dominates the ground game. She hasn't someone like me. I want to prove that I'm better than her on the ground."
ONE Fight Night 27 will air live from the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on Jan. 10. North American viewers with an active Prime Video subscription can watch all the action live and for free.
