Denice Zamboanga expects Alyona Rassohyna to go full throttle in their highly anticipated interim title tilt.
Emanating from the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand this Friday night, Jan. 10, ONE Fight Night 27 on Prime Video will see Zamboanga and Rassohyna square off for the interim ONE atomweight MMA world championship.
Originally, 'The Menace' was scheduled to square off with undisputed atomweight MMA queen Stamp Fairtex in June, but an injury forced the Thai fan favorite out of their bout.

Instead, Zamboanga will square off with Rassohyna who makes her first promotional appearance since a pair of back-to-back bouts against Stamp in 2021.
Despite Rassohyna's lengthy layoff, Zamboanga expects the Ukrainian to come out ready to make a statement inside the Mecca of Muay Thai. Speaking to ONE Championship, Zamboanga said:
"I feel like she’s gonna come out hungry," Zamboanga told ONE Championship. "Her hunger to win will be there. Her inspiration would be her family, for sure. That’s why I expect her to be training really hard for this fight."
Denice Zamboanga rides into ONE Fight Night 27 on a three-fight win streak
Denice Zamboanga goes into his first ONE world title opportunity riding a three-fight win streak, including victories over Lin Heqin, Julie Mezabarba, and Noelle Grandjean. 'The Menace' has also scored wins against Jihin Radzuan, Mei Yamaguchi, and Watsapinya Kaewkhong.
Meanwhile, Rassohyna has only two appearances inside the Circle, both of them coming against reigning atomweight MMA champion Stamp Fairtex. She landed an impressive third-round submission win over Stamp before coming up short in their rematch seven months later.
Will the 34-year-old Rassohyna shock the world and take her first 26 pounds of ONE gold back to Ukraine, or will Zamboanga claim her first world title and set the stage for a future clash with Stamp Fairtex?
Fans in the United States and Canada can watch ONE Fight Night 27 live on Amazon Prime Video on Friday, Jan. 10 in U.S. primetime.
