The Shohjahon Ergashev vs. Julian Smith round-by-round updates and live scoring are here for the third-last bout on the Salita Promotions card set for this evening. The event itself starts at 9:00 PM E.T. (Eastern Time) / 6:00 PM P.T. (Pacific Time), and will be streamed by DAZN.
The antepenultimate fight, which is scheduled for 10, three-minute, rounds, is expected to begin sometime past 10:00 PM E.T. / 7:00 PM P.T., though there are no confirmed times for the Ergashev vs. Smith clash. The matchup is marked by a massive disparity in experience.
Ergashev, whos is the pride of Uzbekistan, is 24-1, having only recently lost for the first time as a professional late last year, before bouncing back with a knockout of Juan Huertas. Meanwhile, his opponent has a record of 8 wins and two losses. Despite the gap in experience, Smith is actually older by a year.
The pair will meet at super lightweight, but no world title will be on the line. Due to the disparity in experience, Ergashev is expected by oddsmakers to win the bout of one of boxing's notable cards this weekend, with DraftKings Sportsbook listing him as a -800 favorite, while Smith is a +500 underdog.
