Veteran British fighter Liam Harrison is among those excited for the planned marquee kickboxing showdown between superstar strikers Rodtang Jitmuangnon and Takeru Segawa in 2025. He is expecting the contest to go down as a pure banger that fans should enjoy.
'Hitman' shared this as he reacted to an Instagram post by ONE Championship spotlighting the Rodtang-Takeru showdown, writing:
"Rodtangs best weapon recently have been his elbows but they're fighting kickboxing so I think the advantage is with Takeru under the rule set. Either way tho should be a banger."

A showdown between Rodtang and Takeru has been in the pipeline since the Japanese kickboxing legend joined ONE Championship last year. They were initially penciled in to clash back in January in Japan but it was cancelled as the Thai superstar recovered from an injury.
Excitement over the possible showdown between the two has been reignited anew of late, with both healthy and eager to finally make it happen. There is no official word yet, however, on when next year the two will touch gloves.
Takeru catches latest Rodtang match at ONE 169
As part of his preparation for his planned showdown with Rodtang Jitmuangnon, Japanese superstar kickboxer Takeru Segawa flew to Thailand to catch 'The Iron Man' compete at ONE 169: Malykhin vs. 'Reug Reug' on Nov. 8.
'The Natural Born Crusher' was among the crowd who witnessed firsthand the Thai superstar dominate British opponent Jacob Smith en route to the win by decision in their rematch at the stacked event that took place at Bangkok's Lumpinee Stadium. Takeru was caught on video watching the match intently as Rodtang steadly dismantled Smith.
