Belal Muhammad has divided the MMA fan base with his display of support for Palestine at UFC 304.
Earlier this weekend, 'Remember the Name' entered the Co-op Live in Manchester draped in the country's flag, with the song 'My Blood is Palestine' playing along.
This comes as little surprise since he has long been a harsh critic of Israel for its ongoing war on Gaza.
While he is an American citizen, the 36-year-old shares Palestinian heritage and has donned the country's flag numerous times before during his fighting career.

However, given the current socio-political scenario, fans were divided with the welterweight's actions at UFC 304.
With footage of Muhammad adorning the Palestinian flag gaining traction on social media, fight fans have come out noting their opinions on the matter.

Turbulence and unrest in nothing new for the West Asian region. However, after Hamas militants launched a multifrontal attack on Israel on Oct. 7, 2023, the conflict between Israel and Gaza has escalated greatly. According to a report by Time Magazine, over 36,000 have been killed in the ongoing conflict.
As for Muhammad, he claimed the undisputed welterweight title earlier tonight with a unanimous decision win over Leon Edwards.
Edwards was the No.4-ranked pound-for-pound fighter on the UFC roster going into the title bout and was on a 13-fight unbeaten run. 'Remember the Name' is currently on an 11-fight unbeaten run and might break into the pound-for-pound rankings come Monday.
