Jorge Masvidal's recent revelation about a possible comeback to the octagon didn't resonate well with fans. 'Gambred' recently appeared on an episode of Bo Nickal's YouTube podcast where he revealed his wish to return to the UFC next year. However, the fans turned a cold shoulder towards his desire.

Masvidal's last octagon encounter at UFC 287 against Gilbert Burns ended with him suffering a unanimous decision defeat, which took his losing streak to four fights. 'Gamebred' announced his retirement right after this loss.

However, the Miami native is eyeing a return to the octagon currently. Championship Rounds tweeted a section of the podcast episode that displayed Masvidal revealing his wish to come back if Dana White and co. schedule a Miami-based event in March 2025.

However, the comments on this tweet revealed that the fans weren't interested in witnessing Masvidal's comeback. One of them read:

Warner Bros. Pictures recently released a sequel to the 2019 Oscar-winning movie 'Joker' which failed to garner the expected response at the box office. A large chunk of fans including the UFC legend Chael Sonnen, criticized the movie's plot.

However, 'The Bad Guy' pulled Masvidal into the comparison to arraign 'Joker 2'. Sonnen pointed out that the makers couldn't do justice despite having some immensely talented actors on the team, just like Masvidal could never reach his full potential despite being extremely talented.
