“Show the world who I am” - Mohamed Younes Rabah eager to shake up the stacked featherweight Muay Thai ranks

Algerian striker Mohamed Younes Rabah is steadily making a name for himself in ONE Championship's featherweight Muay Thai division. He seeks to pick things up further in his scheduled match next month. 'The Eagle' plunges back into action on Nov. 8 at ONE 169: Malykhin vs. Reug Reug.

He is going up against American fighter Eddie Abasolo in a featherweight clash, part of the stacked event happening at the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. In an interview with ONE Championship, Rabah shared his mindset heading into the contest in relation to his overall goal in the promotion, saying:

"So I still have the power, I have everything, and this is the time to show the world who I am."

Mohamed Younes Rabah has had two fights so far since making his ONE debut in December last year. Both were against Thai Saemapetch Fairtex, with the pair going 1-1 against each other. The 27-year-old Team Mehdi Zatout affiliate lost in their last showdown in February by TKO, and is looking to redeem himself at ONE 169.

Abasolo, meanwhile, is also out to get a much-needed win after losing his last two matches. ONE 169: Malykhin vs. Reug Reug will be aired live and for free at U.S. primetime to North American fans with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription.

Mohamed Younes Rabah is angling for a finish of Eddie Abasolo in their scheduled showdown at ONE 169: Malykhin vs. Reug Reug on Nov. 8. He said he already knows how to go about it.

The Algerian fighter shared this in the same interview with ONE Championship, highlighting how he intends to put the pressure on 'Silky Smooth' right from the get-go and move for the finish thereafter.

Rabah said:

"I think this fight will end in the third round via TKO. I will make him tired in the first and second rounds and finish him in the third round."

Before entering ONE Championship late last year, Mohamed Younes Rabah had a record of 13-0. He hopes to duplicate such success as he continues to build on his ONE journey.
